Our 2012 squad showed heart, passion, and incredible skill all weekend long, battling tough competition and the intense heat to earn their spot in the Cary Cup Final!

We came up short in the championship match (3-5 L / 1 goal was in TST time) against a strong Triangle United GA team, but the experience, effort, and growth were unmatched. Couldn’t be prouder of these athletes

My Personal—and Our—Inspiration

Growing up in California as a young basketball fan, I would sit in the living room with my father, watching games. At the time, I was too small to fully grasp who Kobe Bryant was or what he represented—but I knew one thing: he was a winner.

As I grew older and began my own competitive sports journey, I immersed myself in everything about him, studying his highlights, interviews, and mentality. Kobe became more than just my favorite player—he became my idol, my ultimate inspiration. His dedication to his craft, his legendary work ethic, and his relentless pursuit of greatness set a standard that I strive to follow every single day.

Kobe Bryant will always be my inspiration because of one thing above all: the Mamba Mentality.

Mamba Mentality—a mindset of constant self-improvement, resilience, and determination. Kobe’s dedication to the game, his grueling training regimens, and his ability to push through injuries and setbacks taught me the true meaning of discipline, perseverance, and an unbreakable will to succeed.

Kobe Bryant was—and always will be—my hero. His work, his legacy, and his mindset live on through me because I carry that Mamba Mentality within me.
